As we prepare for our European team Rebecca Lancelles Foskett, Cathrine McCarroll and Lucy Vallely to go to Amsterdam next week, I wanted to share some trends that we have seen recently in this market.
The HR market in the Netherlands has seen some notable shifts over the last six months. The role of Employee Experience Manager has seen a significant rise, reflecting companies’ increased focus on enhancing workplace culture and employee well-being. This position has grown in prominence, especially in the consumer sectors. The demand for HR Data Analysts has surged by 20%, emphasising the growing reliance on data-driven HR decision-making, particularly in technology and finance industries. Roles like HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Specialist remain consistent across most sectors, with a 15% increase in hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialists in the technology and startup sectors.
Interestingly, while Compensation and Benefits Managers were more prominent six months ago, there’s now a stronger tilt towards roles that directly influence employee engagement and retention. The consumer sector shows a steady 10% rise in these roles, highlighting the evolving priorities in HR. This evolving landscape underscores the Netherlands’ commitment to leveraging strategic HR practices to foster a thriving workforce.
